The Situation

Millions have fled Syria to find safety from the violence in neighbouring countries such as Jordan and Lebanon.

Over 2.3 million people have left Syria. Over half of these refugees are children.

The situation is ongoing and shows no sign of stopping.

Our Work

Human Relief Foundation (HRF) has been providing emergency relief to Syrian refugees  in Jordan ever since the Syrian conflict began in 2011.

HRF partnered with the World Food Programme (WFP) and provides food to over 80,000 Syrian refugees.

HRF also partnered up with the European Union (EU) and have built the capacity of local NGOs to cope with the conflict.

Jordan Deployment Form

1. How long is the deployment?

The deployments last for approximately a week.

2. Do I have to fundraise?

All participants are required to fundraise for their deployment. The funds raised include flights and accommodation. HRF ensures to be cost-effective to make sure the most funds go towards emergency aid.

3. What if I don't meet my target?

Your nearest HRF branch will help you in raising the target. Should you make the effort but not be able to reach your target, HRF will aim to allow you to undertake the next coming deployment once the target is met.

4. Is it safe?

HRF has many years of experience organising Jordan deployments and ensures all health and safety obligations and requirements are met.

HRF works with the Jordanian authorities.

5. What else do I have to provide ahead of the deployment?

All participants should be prepared to follow our project requirements to be eligible to take on the deployment. This includes a DBS check.
