As with every year we give thanks to our generous donors, who without us would not be able to distribute wholesome and healthy food packs to families in some of the most deprived areas of the world.
Some examples of work include working in collaboration with the World Food Programme where we were able to help students in Iraq, and we continued our efforts in helping Syrian refugees in Jordan, the displaced Rohingya in Bangladesh and deprived communities in Pakistan. As well as this our volunteers were extremely busy spreading joy, happiness, hope in Ghana delivering food packs in the Tamale region of the country.
In addition, HRF helped and continues to help in Yemen, with their ongoing humanitarian crisis, which is leaving millions of women, children, and men on the brink of death from famine. Our efforts to ensure that food reaches those who most need it can only continue with the help of our donors. Our donors are truly the backbone of HRF's food work thus are immensely needed to change lives for the better.
HRF follows guidelines as set out by the United Nations to ensure all our food packs are nutritious and healthy. Distributed packs ensured families had enough food for up to a month.
