You’re helping men, women and children from around the world who are suffering and distressed. And you’re making a real difference to the lives of ordinary people caught up in extraordinary, life-threatening situations
Raising funds for HRF is a great way to get involved. What’s more, you can do it within your own area. Perhaps you’d like to organise a raffle at your local school, or a special charity dinner. Or maybe you could spread the word about HRF by helping out with one of our information campaigns.
However you decide to help, we’ll be there to support you. And we’re happy to provide plenty of resources, such as literature about our work and the support you need to take your fundraising to the next level.
HAVE YOU READ OUR VOLUNTEER HANDBOOK?
Our Volunteer Handbook is a 10-page handbook, detailing what we do, what you can expect, your rights and responsibilities as well as the relevant contact details for your nearest HRF branch.
Please download a PDF of the Handbook at the bottom of the page.
I want to volunteer, what’s next?
You’ve taken the first important decision – that’s brilliant! We’d be more than happy to hear from you. We’ll listen to your fundraising ideas, however large or small. We’re open to all offers of help, because we know that even small actions can bring huge benefits to suffering people around the world.
If you’re eager to volunteer, please contact us using the form on the left.
Aid Syrian refugees abroad
Throughout the year we take a group of budding volunteers to Jordan who can experience aid work first-hand and learn about the situation of refugees.
