Rehabilitation Centre for Syrian refugees

HRF is hoping to build a rehabilitation centre inside one of the world's largest refugee camps, Za'atari.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

HRF is hoping to build a rehabilitation centre inside one of the world's largest refugee camps, Za'atari.

This will help refugee children with special needs and disabilities, providing them with needed education and support as well as their parents.

INSIDE ZA'ATARI

Za’atari refugee camp, one of the largest refugee camps in the world, has a lack of educational classrooms and the number of disabled children are on the increase in the camp.

The proposed centre will provide a space for children with various types of disabilities, providing a suitable place for children and youth with various types of disabilities including physical, sensory and mental impairments.

The centre will also provide parents with the necessary training in order to care for their disabled children.

The school will include a computer suite, physiotherapy unit, meeting rooms, class rooms, kitchen facilities, a prayer room, audiology room, sewing factory and a play area.

The proposed centre will provide a space for children with various types of disabilities, as well as supporting their beloved families.
