HRF WORKER: MR RA'AED MOHAMMED SAEED SHOT DEAD
Hardworking project co-ordinator, Mr Ra'aed Mohammed Saeed was ambushed and shot several times near his home in Mosul, Iraq on 1st September 2009.
Mr Saeed, 50, worked as a project co-coordinator at the Human Relief Foundation’s office in Mosul, Iraq. He was involved in the implementation of HRF’s projects including aid distribution and assistance to orphans and widows within the North of Iraq.
Mr Saeed had accomplished a diploma in engineering before working for the HRF. He was described as a hardworking individual who was compassionate about his work and welfare for others.
Mr Saeed leaves behind six children and a mourning widow. Condolences have been extended on behalf of his family, friends, colleagues and other staff members from all HRF branches.
HRF wishes to confirm its commitment with the important humanitarian relief work for the benefit of the less fortunate people in Iraq.
In doing so, HRF will uphold Mr Saeed’s legacy in recognition of his hardwork and devotion to the people of Iraq.
