Key Questions (Q) and Answers (A) on the Tender for Shelter Construction for Rohingya and
Host Communities
Q1: How many shelters will be Implemented?
A1: A total of 500 shelters will be constructed.
Q2: Is it focused on present market rates or earlier rates?
A2: Present market rates, acceptable and feasible pricing with a competitive rate is advised.
Q3: How many days will be provided to construct those structures?
A3: 120 days will be provided to construct the shelters.
Q4: What is the support for Partner organization and HRF regarding land selection / site selection?
A4: Land selection/site selection will be done by the partner organizations.
Q5: If any involvements are found in government organization
A5: Relevant government coordination will be managed by the partner organizations.
Q6: Is it needed to pay security amount through DD or pay order issue on quoted amount?
A6: No need to pay security amount with tender. Only selected contractors will need to be paid the
security money as per agreed rate.
Q7: What is the payment mechanism system? Is there any option to provide advance or partial?
A7: No advance payment. Mode of payment will be mentioned in the supplier contract.
