Local Charity Shop Gives Away Stock To Grenfell Tower Residents

International humanitarian aid organisation, Human Relief Foundation, has leapt to the aid of residents and those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire in west London.
Utilising their local charity shop, just 11 minutes away from the devastated tower block, staff will be giving away stock including clothes, blankets and homeware and are appealing for more donations.

Charity shop manager, Mevlida Lazibi, said: “We are deeply saddened for those affected by the disaster, the least we can do is provide comfort and work to replace the personal items lost.”
The fire brigade said 40 fire engines and 200 firefighters had been called to the blaze, which broke out at the Grenfell Tower in the Lancaster West estate near Ladbroke Grove.
At least six people have died following the incident with many more affected.
