Charity forms one of the five obligatory Pillars of Islam and is greatly encouraged and significantly rewarded too.
Just like many millions of children are orphaned across the world, many millions of women are also widowed after losing their husband as a result of war and conflict.
As the majority of women in these countries are barely educated, this leaves them in an incredibly vulnerable situation with no support or security to bring their children up in. Life rapidly becomes just a means to survive.
Here at Human Relief Foundation, we believe in the empowerment of women and think that women should have vital access to an education to enable them to sufficiently support themselves and their families. To date, we have helped thousands of widows with educational development and we aim to continue doing so with your generous support.
Your donations could go a long way towards providing these widows with the sufficient training and skills they need to enable them to work to support themselves and provide for their children, allowing them to build themselves a better future. Not only does this benefit the mother but it also benefits the children as it allows these mothers to keep their children in education instead of having no choice but to direct their child towards manual labour in a bid to survive.
International Widows’ Day – 23rd June
There are many millions of widows still suffering alone today, so in light of International Widows’ Day this year, help Human Relief Foundation continue to provide the necessary assistance to these vulnerable women and give them the security they need along with the hope for a better future.

Regardless of your religion or beliefs, Muslim or not, charity is something we should all have active involvement in – no matter what our status. Any amount of charity, large or small, goes an incredibly long way towards making the world a better place for everyone.
