“Every test is a blessing; every blessing is a test.”
In all honesty, there is a greater satisfaction found in giving to someone rather than receiving; the excitement, the reaction, witnessing the pleasure on someone’s face and seeing the difference it makes creates a warm feeling that happiness afterwards.
However, we are so accustomed to giving the gift of material goods to people around us, those we are close to such as family and friends, that we almost overlook the fact that we could be giving the gift of life to someone too.
Someone, far away, someone we may not know, someone whose need is much greater than our own. Someone who may be suffering, living in poverty, someone who may be widowed or orphaned. Someone who may be injured and requires medical aid, someone who has no shelter, someone who has lost all their loved ones. Someone who has lost all their worldly possessions, someone who has no sustenance on a daily basis – these are all people that could do with a helping hand in everyday life.
Imagine being the difference between someone’s life and death? Being the difference between someone’s today and tomorrow and impacting their quality of life?
The thing is, you can; we can!
Here at Human Relief Foundation, we are dedicated to providing support and assistance to those in need, those who are suffering as a result of the worldly conflict, and those who have no shelter or anyone to call their own. You, too, could be part of this commitment to help in changing lives of those in need.
Helping people doesn’t always necessitate the act of donating money as there are so many different campaigns and projects you can support. Whether you volunteer your time and effort, or you raise awareness by fundraising in your local community – there are many sure-fire ways you can help someone in need today.
“We can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone.” - Ronald Reagan
