During the 2015 liberation of the towns Al Door and Mukasyafah in Salah Al-Din Governorate from Daesh (ISIL/IS), most of the buildings and individual houses were damaged or destroyed. Located to the south of Tikrit, Al Door has a population of 60,000 residents and Mukasyafah has 40,000 residents.
Cash For Work for Stabilisation Agriculture Activities in Al Hajaj
As part of HRF’s stabilization approach in Iraq, we worked together with the UNDP from May until July in 2015 to provide immediate support for current residents as well as prepare for the safe and dignified return of displaced families through the rehabilitation of livelihoods.

Conflict Sensitivity, Prevention and Peacebuilding in Jordan
In response to problems arising in Jordan resulting from the influx of Syrian refugees, Human Relief Foundation (HRF) and Identity Centre (IC) developed and implemented an intensive conflict transformation capacity building project. The project, funded by the EU, provided training to eight Jordanian grassroots organisations enabling them to develop their conflict analysis and resolution skills, among others, as well as to assist Syrian refugees to integrate into the host community.
