HRF delivers Fidyah in two ways:

  2. Cooked meals served at Suhoor and Iftar.

HRF delivers food in the following countries:

Pakistan , Jordan, Palestine, Iraq, Bangladesh, Yemen, Syrian Refugees

*One paying fidyah must pay for 2 meals £8 (each meal costs £4) for every fast missed.

**Please write what country you wish your fidyah to be delivered in the comments section when making payment.

  • What is Fidyah?

When fasts are missed due to necessity, and they are unable to make them up later on in the year.

  • Who pays Fidyah?

People who cannot fast in Ramadan due to old age, ill health, medical conditions or pregnancy should pay fidyah.

  • How much does one pay for Fidyah?

The payment for fidyah is calculated by providing one person with two meals (mudd) or two people with one meal for each day that is missed. Currently the rate calculated for one meal is £4.

For example if someone with a medical condition knows they will not be able to fast the whole of Ramadan (30 days), they would pay £120 (£4 x 60 meals).
