Where does my money go?

When you choose to make a donation to one of HRF's projects or appeals, you can do so in the safe knowledge that the money that you pledge will be used to help many people in need across the globe.

Examples of where your money will be used are:

1. To bring clean drinking water to a village in desperate need, preventing the risk of infection and the need to walks miles and miles every day just for a basic human right.

2. To help give a family a home again after the destruction of war has left them without shelter.

3. To provide the elderly with the care and attention that they deserve. With your help, we can help get them the medication and treatment that they need.

4. To help families less fortunate than ourselves still enjoy the religious festivals such as Eid and Ramadhan

success stories

HRF have managed to help thousands of people world wide, and could not have done it without the help and support of it's donors and volunteers, so thank you. Here are some 'success stories'.

1. Last year HRF distributed 175000 Kilograms of meat to the poor and needy families throughout the world which means that approximately 1200 families benefited and enjoyed the blessings of Eid

2. Our volunteers keep on running! One of them, Mr Ali, ran the London and Edinburgh Marathons. He raised over £5,000 for the orphans in Iraq and Kashmir.

3. Over the last 3 years we've spent over £1 million in the Muzaffarabad region of Kashmir. We're continuing to support communities in this area, and we're in it for the long term.

Please donate today, and help us create more sucess stories.

Orphan Sponsorship

HRF's extensive sponsorship scheme has been running for over many years now. It is by far one of the most efficient ways of reaching out to those in dire need.

The orphan sponsorship programme provides for both orphan and their families i.e. help towards basic living costs. It provides orphans with the basic necessities for everyday life, from providing an education to a nutritious meal.

Children deserve the best chance we can give them to fulfil their potential. Yet, war, sickness, poverty and neglect across the world continue to deny children an environment in which they can flourish.

Currently HRF is running sponsorship schemes in:

*Iraq
*Palestine
*Sudan
*Lebanon

HRF's future plans are to extend the sponsorship scheme in other countries such as Somalia, Kashmir and Pakistan.

A relationship between you and your orphan...

The best thing about our orphan sponsorship scheme is that it provides you with a chance to get closer to a child by choosing a specific orphan. Our one-to-one sponsorship scheme allows for you to know more about the orphan, and how he/she is getting on with your continued support. With your help, HRF will be able to give the orphan the support they need!

How much does it cost?

The orphan is asking for a payment of £25 per month (This amount is subject to review and may change in the future). This donation will contribute towards:

*Food and clothing
*Education
*Healthcare
