Where does my money go?

When you choose to make a donation to one of HRF's projects or appeals, you can do so in the safe knowledge that the money that you pledge will be used to help many people in need across the globe.

Examples of where your money will be used are:

1. To bring clean drinking water to a village in desperate need, preventing the risk of infection and the need to walks miles and miles every day just for a basic human right.

2. To help give a family a home again after the destruction of war has left them without shelter.

3. To provide the elderly with the care and attention that they deserve. With your help, we can help get them the medication and treatment that they need.

4. To help families less fortunate than ourselves still enjoy the religious festivals such as Eid and Ramadhan

success stories

HRF have managed to help thousands of people world wide, and could not have done it without the help and support of it's donors and volunteers, so thank you. Here are some 'success stories'.

1. Last year HRF distributed 175000 Kilograms of meat to the poor and needy families throughout the world which means that approximately 1200 families benefited and enjoyed the blessings of Eid

2. Our volunteers keep on running! One of them, Mr Ali, ran the London and Edinburgh Marathons. He raised over £5,000 for the orphans in Iraq and Kashmir.

3. Over the last 3 years we've spent over £1 million in the Muzaffarabad region of Kashmir. We're continuing to support communities in this area, and we're in it for the long term.

Please donate today, and help us create more sucess stories.

Refugees - Jordan & Syria

Both Jordan and Syria are struggling to host 2.2 Million Iraqis, who have fled their country over the last 4 years (1.4 Million in Syria and 750,000 in Jordan). An estimated 60,000 Iraqis are fleeing their country every month.

Due to lack of security in Iraq and the violent events, Iraqis are displaced internally and externally with mass exodus, which causes a great deal of suffering, losses and uncertainty.

Iraqis in Jordan have no legal status of work or education. They are considered visitors and rely on international support to earn their living. Iraqis in Syria are facing dire conditions with little resources available and uncertain future.

Both countries have been trying to meet some of the Iraqi's needs by using their systems such as access to healthcare, but these systems are rapidly becoming overwhelmed by the large number of displaced people arriving from Iraq. HRF is appealing to support Iraqis in these countries who are inflicted with humanitarian distress.

HRF proposes to assist Iraqis with food parcels, school kits, income support and much more...

Details of Requirement:

- Monthly rent
- Income support
- Food parcels (rice, lentils, flour, tea, sugar, cooking oil)
- School kits to children (stationary, books, bags...etc)
- Household supplies (utensils, domestic appliances, cookware...etc)

No of Beneficiaries:

10,000 families in Syria
5,000 families in Jordan
We can provide vital support to as many families as we get enough funds

Budget: £500 per family
