When you choose to make a donation to one of HRF's projects or appeals, you can do so in the safe knowledge that the money that you pledge will be used to help many people in need across the globe.
Examples of where your money will be used are:
1. To bring clean drinking water to a village in desperate need, preventing the risk of infection and the need to walks miles and miles every day just for a basic human right.
2. To help give a family a home again after the destruction of war has left them without shelter.
3. To provide the elderly with the care and attention that they deserve. With your help, we can help get them the medication and treatment that they need.
4. To help families less fortunate than ourselves still enjoy the religious festivals such as Eid and Ramadhan
HRF have managed to help thousands of people world wide, and could not have done it without the help and support of it's donors and volunteers, so thank you. Here are some 'success stories'.
1. Last year HRF distributed 175000 Kilograms of meat to the poor and needy families throughout the world which means that approximately 1200 families benefited and enjoyed the blessings of Eid
2. Our volunteers keep on running! One of them, Mr Ali, ran the London and Edinburgh Marathons. He raised over £5,000 for the orphans in Iraq and Kashmir.
3. Over the last 3 years we've spent over £1 million in the Muzaffarabad region of Kashmir. We're continuing to support communities in this area, and we're in it for the long term.
Please donate today, and help us create more sucess stories.

Many nations have adversely been affected by man-made disasters such as wars and conflict, other nations have been affected by natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, and famine and some nations, however have been affected by both. Factors such as economic deterioration, inflation, high cost of commodities, devaluation of currencies and high levels of unemployment have had direct influences on many groups within these societies.
The Widows
War, conflicts and calamities have resulted in excessive death rates among the male population, leaving behind orphans, widows, and one parent families. The widows are suffering continuous financial hardship, increased levels of responsibilities for upbringing of children and are under immense stress, requiring the urgent need of care and support. War also leaves behind grieving families and widows.
In conflict afflicted communities as many as 50% of adult women are widowed. With just £34 per month HRF can provide basic living costs for a widow and her dependents.
The Disabled and the Invalids
As a result of wars along with the lack of awareness and specialised care institution, the disabled and invalids have dramatically increased within communities. To incorporate them back into the societies, it is vital that they receive the adequate due care and attention.
Poor families
Due to social constraints, high inflation, limited income and education along with the increased levels of high unemployment in the developing world, poor families today form the majority of the population. To improve their quality of life and living standards, support and assistance is required for their betterment.
(Please remember that your donation will be used as a general donation for a poor family, widow or disabled person).
