Part Time - Charity Shop Supervisor / Assistant

Key Responsibilities
*- Recruit, lead, manage and plan for the development of your shop team including volunteers.
*- Maximise shop income and achieve agreed performance targets.
*- The supervision of volunteers.
*- Training shop volunteers.
*- To maintain the shop at the highest standard possible Ensuring a safe environment that protects all people (shop and public) from harm.
*- Work closely with the Charity Shop Manager to ensure any problems in the shop are resolved quickly and effectively.
*- Fulfil any administrative duties in relation to responsibilities.
*- Serve customers, handle and process sales.
*- Sort, price, display and rotate stock.
*- Ensure the shop is always kept clean and presentable.
*- Deal with enquiries from the public and staff.
*- Respond to telephone calls.
*- Receive and deal with enquiries from visitors at the shop.
*- Handle and process donations including bookkeeping.
*- Lodge donations.
*- Administer any other task in relation to donation handling including use of computerized systems.
*- To assist the Charity Shops Manager with any duties that may be requested as deemed appropriate.
*- Any other task as deemed appropriate by the Charity Shops Manager in improving the efficiency and performance of Human Relief Foundation Shops.
*- Take all reasonable steps to secure HRF's property from theft or damage and report any maintenance or health and safety issues in your shop to the management of Delta one.

Job Title:   
Fundraising Manager

Job Description: Location: LONDON
Salary: £35,000 per Year depending on experience
The purpose of the job is to co-ordinate HRFs fund-raising activities and nurture established as well as newer fundraising sources.

Key Responsibilities
* Ensure that the HRF fundraising strategies, long term plans are developed and implemented.
* Maintain existing funding relations through quality donor care.
* Explore and identify new donors and funding sources.
* Strengthen HRF's visibility at, and contributions to, public forums and major institutional stakeholders by forging new and improved relations and appropriate partnerships.
* Lead on the development of systems, policies and procedures that guide HRF fundraising work and maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation.
* Keep HRF relevant parties informed about major funding opportunities or threats and the HRF effect upon decision making.
* Manage the fundraising team. This includes recruitment and induction, regular supervision, support and appraisals of the team members
* Works with colleagues to build the capacity of HRF's worldwide offices to fundraise independently for their programmers.
* Monitors and reports fundraising progress against the annual income target, including in reports to the CEO.
* Monitors and evaluates fundraising activities (strategy, identification of potential donors, quality of applications, relationship building with donors) and report as required.
* Undertake any other reasonable duties that are consistent with the job and at its level of responsibility as and when required by the management.
Person Specification
* University Degree in Marketing, Fundraising or related field.
* Proven record of raising funds.
* Proven experience of Project, budget and staff management and resource control skills.
* An ability to manage several projects and tasks at the same time and to prioritise where required
* Clear, concise, skilful and persuasive written communication of an excellent standard with particular attention to detail, proof reading and copy editing skills
* Strong IT skills particularly in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Familiar with legal and regulatory issues relevant to fundraising, marketing and charitable giving.
* Team player.
